Thank you to everyone who made the 2023 Traffic Safety Summit one of our most successful yet! Every speaker, volunteer, and attendee played an integral part in helping further the goals of this summit by actively engaging in conversations and sessions that addressed critical issues on Colorado’s roadways.

Jay Otto, Co-Director of Montana State University’s Center for Health and Safety Culture speaking during the general session

We would like to give a special thanks to Jay Otto, Co-Director of Montana State University’s Center for Health and Safety Culture for creating a series of general sessions about the importance of safety culture. It is clear that these sessions will have a lasting impact. Thank you, Jay, for giving us the opportunity to delve into deep peer conversations about how together we can champion a culture of safety and change the trajectory of crashes in our communities.

Attendees participating in the ThinkFast Interactive game

We also want to thank ThinkFast Interactive for bringing the energy we desperately needed Tuesday afternoon and showcasing how to make traffic safety fun and engaging for our youth.

As Glenn Davis and Manjari Bhat shared in the closing session, “Together, we can build a culture where safety is deeply embedded into our daily practice and activities, it is our way of life. Let's make our roads safer, one conscious choice at a time.” Thank you again to all who participated in the 2023 Colorado Traffic Safety Summit.
