2021 State of Colorado Traffic Fatality Report

The Safety Programs and Crash Data unit provides fatal data and statistics used to develop performance targets, performance tracking, and trends that are used to help reduce the fatalities on Colorado roadways. It also provides data to the Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS). FARS is a nationwide census providing NHTSA, Congress and the American public annual data regarding fatal injuries suffered in motor vehicle traffic crashes.  Click here to view Fatal Crash data statistics.
