CDOT rolls out new marijuana-impaired driving prevention website, DriveHighDUI.com

Traffic Safety Pulse News

Since Colorado became the first state to legalize recreational marijuana in 2014, CDOT has remained on the forefront of traffic safety campaigns for marijuana-impaired driving. CDOT recently launched its new Drugged Driving Colorado website, DriveHighDUI.com, which features compelling insights, current data and a variety of resources to help inform marijuana consumers and industry professionals nationwide. The website’s revamp is especially timely now that providing accurate and detailed information online is more necessary than ever.

In addition to the website’s new look, it now shares in-depth answers to frequently asked questions, the latest statistics, downloadable social media graphics, educational videos and much more. From recent promotion tactics to look-backs at past campaigns, to the laws and roadside impairment testing methods for enforcement and detection, DriveHighDUI.com is the one-stop shop for Coloradans looking to learn more about marijuana-impaired driving. Even The Cannabis Conversation Report, published earlier this year, is now available to read and download.

CDOT plans to promote the new website on CDOT’s media channels and through industry partnerships to encourage cannabis-industry organizations across the nation to help convince cannabis consumers, employees and their communities on the dangers of driving high and to find alternatives to driving high.
