Three seconds. That's all it takes to turn an ordinary drive into a life-saving act.

In July 2017, Kevin and Brenda were involved in a serious crash and are alive because they were wearing their seat belts. CDOT captured their story, in an authentic and culturally relevant manner, to help remind residents about the importance of wearing a seat belt.

In fact, regular seat belt use continues to be the single most effective way to prevent serious injuries and save the people you love from dying in a motor vehicle crash.

This 30-second public service announcement (PSA) has been distributed to law enforcement agencies and community organizations throughout Colorado for use on social media.
