Grantee Highlight
The Colorado Task Force on Drunk and Impaired Driving (CTFDID) is a legislatively created Task Force which supports the prevention, awareness, enforcement and treatment of drunk and impaired driving in Colorado. THE CTFDID is supported through strong partnerships with public, private and non-profit organizations.
Since October 1, 2016, the CTFDID has:
- Collaborated with the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health to propose rule changes to create enhanced substance abuse treatment for felony DUI offenders;
- Provided members to serve as subject matter experts on the impact of marijuana impaired driving at both a national and statewide level;
- Assisted CDOT in developing widely recognized alcohol and marijuana impaired driving public awareness campaigns; and
- Assisted in developing culturally and linguistically impactful public awareness campaigns to reach a diverse Colorado audience.
The CTFDID meets in the Denver Metro area 10 times per year (no meetings in June and August) and is open to the public. For additional information or to be added to the distribution list please email Rebecca Novak at [email protected].
