NTSB's 2016 Most Wanted List Released

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) recently announced its 2016 Most Wanted List of transportation safety improvements. The list serves as a blueprint to increase awareness about the causes of traffic crashes and other issues identified from highway and other investigations.

The list intends to promote the application of suggested safety solutions and represents cost-effective strategies that can save lives and reduce costs through technology, education and enforcement.

The Most Wanted List includes:

• Strengthen Occupant Protection
• Disconnect from Deadly Distractions
• Reduce Fatigue-Related Accidents
• End Substance Impairment in Transportation
• Promote Availability of Crash Avoidance Technologies
