New CDOT Felony DUI Campaign

Impaired driving continues to be more than just an unfortunate choice; it's a deadly crime on Colorado roads. DUIs come with stern penalties, but many offenders continue to drive impaired despite previous arrests.

Colorado's new felony DUI law intensifies consequences for repeat offenders, and CDOT is taking charge to ensure Coloradans are aware.

CDOT's forthcoming Felony DUI campaign will inform the public about the new felony DUI law, including consequences such as prison time, that DUI offenders face—regardless if it is their first or subsequent offense. The campaign will share the stories of real Coloradans who have lost everything because of their DUI convictions.

The campaign is currently assembling partners and developing materials for public outreach. Check back in February for the campaign's creative materials.
