Highway Safety Office Occupation Protection Assessment

On Feb. 5, the Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) team participated in the Highway Safety Office Occupant Protection Assessment. The LELs provided information to the assessment team regarding occupant protection enforcement and their relationships with their law enforcement partners. The consensus was for the LELs to continue providing their law enforcement partners with occupant protection grant information and tools to assist with community education and messaging regarding occupant protection enforcement.
