The Highway Safety Office conducted an impaired driving assessment the week of Jan. 22-26 at the Omni Interlocken Hotel located in Broomfield, Colorado. Law Enforcement Liaisons Lee Birk and Erin Brannan, along with Aspen Police Chief Kim Ferber, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jason Haag and Denver Police Department Sgt. Alan Ma, gave a presentation regarding enforcement to the panel. During the presentation, the group provided information regarding law enforcement's efforts and obstacles in conducting high visibility enforcement (HVE) in Colorado.
