Fatal Crash Data Dashboard

The Fatal Crash Data Dashboard contains the official and most current number of vehicle occupants and non-motorists killed in crashes involving a motor vehicle along Colorado public roadways. It can be used to find traffic fatalities by month, county, city, traffic unit type, age and more.

DUI and Click It or Ticket Enforcement Period Portal

CDOT’s DUI and Click It or Ticket Enforcement Period Portal contains the number of DUI arrests and seat belt citations issued by participating law enforcement agencies during heightened enforcement throughout the year. For example, it can be used to track arrests during the Labor Day DUI enforcement period and July Wave Click It or Ticket enforcement period.

Problem ID Report

CDOT’s 2023 Problem Identification Report describes motor vehicle crash characteristics for crashes that occurred in Colorado in calendar year 2021. Specifically, this report presents key traffic safety statistics identified by the CDOT and injury epidemiologists at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), as well as core performance measures defined by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). CDOT, law enforcement agencies, local government agencies, nonprofit organizations and public health professionals utilize this document to inform prevention strategies intended to reduce the number and severity of motor vehicle crashes in Colorado. STSI provides state-by-state traffic safety profiles, including: crash data, lives saved/savable, legislation, economic costs, grant funding, alcohol related crash data, performance measures and geographic maps of crash data. Colorado Crime Statistics

The Colorado Crime Statistics Portal can be used to find the number of DUI arrests in the state by year. The data can be viewed by arrestee age and arrests by month. Data is current through the last full month, plus a 30-day data-entry lag.

Not to be confused with the Fatal Crash Data Dashboard, the Colorado Crash Data Dashboard contains the official and most current number of vehicle occupants and non-motorists involved in crashes along Colorado public roadways. The data can be viewed by specific date ranges, injury level, occupant impairment, helmet use and other categories.
