Spend a half day with your teen at the Ford Driving Skills for Life advanced driver training clinic for newly licensed or permitted drivers. Registration is required and space is limited.
This is a FREE program provided by the Ford Motor Company Fund, the corporate foundation of Ford Motor Company. Ford Driving Skills for Life was developed in 2003 to teach teens the proper driving skills in a controlled and safe environment.
The advanced driver training clinic pairs teen drivers with professional instructors, focusing on inexperience and issues that cause crashes, including:
- Hazard Recognition
- Vehicle Handling
- Speed and Space Management
- Reaction Time
- Avoiding the Dangers of Distracted and Impaired Driving
- Safe Smart Mobility
- And More
This program provides skills beyond those taught in traditional driver education courses and is an important step in the lifelong process of learning to drive safely. Vehicles used during the training will be provided.
