Be the Ultimate Party Host, says CDOT!
Traffic Safety Pulse News
CDOT recently launched the “Ultimate Party Host” campaign to help prevent impaired driving by
offering Uber ride credits valued at $15 each to get Coloradans home safe during the holiday
season. The Governor’s Highway Safety Administration (GHSA) launched the program in five states,
including Colorado. The campaign is part of a grant CDOT received from the GHSA for the second
consecutive year.
The $10,000 in ride credits were snapped up in just one week with over 600 people claiming the
ride credits. CDOT will make an additional 200 Uber credits available Friday, Dec. 17, at Argonaut
Wine and Liquor for in-store customers. The ride credits, available statewide, are limited to one use
per person and valid only while supplies last. The credits must be redeemed from 5 p.m. - 5 a.m. by
Jan. 3, 2022.
Though anyone can use the discount to stay safe, CDOT is specifically marketing the offer to
people who are hosting holiday parties. The promotion aims to prevent impaired driving by
offering a solution — free sober rides to or from holiday gatherings. For additional information
