Three More States Say Yes to Hands-Free Laws

More states are joining the ranks of those banning drivers from using cellphones behind the wheel, unless they’re using a hands-free device. While 48 states and the District of Columbia have texting bans, only 25 states, now including Idaho, Indiana and South Dakota, have hands-free laws for all drivers.
