Public Engagement

Overview

CDOT highly values public and agency participation, and it is an essential component of the NEPA process. Community members, property owners, and other stakeholders provided input that helped shape the project design

Public Involvement

An open house was held on November 15, 2023 to present the proposed improvements and the results of the Environmental Assessment for public comment.

  • Join the project mailing list to learn of engagement opportunities or submit a comment at any time.
  • If you would like to invite the project team to meet with your group to provide a project update, please email your request to [email protected].

Focus Group Meetings

Two rounds of focus group meetings were held for two-way information sharing centered on specific interest areas. The first round of meetings was held in February 2020 and the second round was held in June 2023.  Groups focused on specific interest areas, including freight, multimodal travel and business.
