US 85 & US 34 Interchange Improvements
About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation and contracting partner Jalisco International, Inc. will resume work at the intersection of US Highway 85 and US Highway 34 in Greeley near Garden City mid-March of 2025.
The anticipated completion date of the project is June 2025.
During the 2024 construction season, crews located utilities and began preparing for overhead sign installation throughout the project limits.
Crews will complete the remaining safety improvements at the intersection of US 85 and US 34, known as Spaghetti Junction. Work includes improving signage and striping for better lane recognition. The shoulders will be widened, and new guardrails will be installed to enhance mobility and safety.
Drivers are urged to stay alert and exercise caution in work zones. Maintaining attentiveness ensures the safety of all road users, including construction crews and fellow motorists.
