About the Project:

The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin signal work on May 2, 2022, along US Highway 50 in Delta from Mile Point 71.1 to MP 71.5. Sturgeon Electric Company from Denver CO is the contractor for this project.

Signal improvements will take place at four different locations on US 50 in Delta at 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Street. Work will consist of new conduit, wiring, pedestrian push buttons, vehicle detection, replacement of controller cabinets and signal head back plates. Additional work will consist of new signs and thermoplastic pavement marking.
