About the Project:
The work will occur along US Highway 36 in three locations from Mile Point 12.77 to MP 14.83, northwest of Lyons. The first location is from MP 12.77 to 13.32, second location is from MP 14.25 to 14.39, and the third location is from MP 14.64 to 14.81. The work will primarily consist of guardrail and barrier replacement from MP 12.77 to MP 14.83. Other work includes temporary erosion control, asphalt removal and patching, and sign removal and replacement.

Project Benefits

Work Schedule:
- Work will last approximately three months
- Working hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday
Traffic Impacts:
- Vehicles will be reduced to a single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in either direction throughout the duration of the project
- Lane closures, guided by flaggers and pilot cars, will have up to 15-minute delays
- The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph through the work zone
