CO 392 Access Control Plan

October 2006 - Recent and continued growth in along Interstate (I) 25, State Highway (SH) 392, and within the local communities that make up the North Front Range, has resulted in an increase in traffic on the SH 392 corridor. Traffic volumes in the area are expected to at least double in the next 20 years. Without changes to the corridor, this increase in traffic volumes will result in increased delay, higher levels of congestion, and an increase in the severity and number of accidents. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has identified the need for an Access Control Plan (ACP) on this corridor to minimize the occurrence of these conditions. CO 392 Environmental Overview Study (EOS)

The CO 392 Environmental Overview Study identified a transportation solution supported by local and regional planning partners that identifies right of way, which must be preserved for improvements. This plan will be used by planners to set aside right of way as development occurs along the corridor. The CO 392 EOS study limits are from CO 287 to the west to Weld County Road (WCR) 23 to the east. Keywords: Studies, State Highways, Construction Complete

I-25 and Erie Pkwy Ramp Signalization

NB & SB on and off ramp signalization at I-25 and Erie Parkway (aka CR 8) This will include installation of signal poles, mast arms, controller cabinets, fiber infrastructure, cameras and other infrastructure needed for the signalization. A traffic signalization of the on/off ramps would improve the overall safety and operations of this intersection. NHPP 0253-265
