I-76 & Dahlia Emergency Bridge Repair

About the Project:

This project will repair the Dahlia Street bridge over I-76 after damage was caused when a tractor-trailer struck the edge of the bridge in March 2024.

Project Benefits

• This project will repair the damaged bridge structure above I-76 and reopen both directions of traffic on Dahlia Street.

Work Schedule:

• Work begins June 2 and continue until early July
• Working hours are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., 7 days a week

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

• Single nighttime lane closures on I-76 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. through June
• Continued restriction of northbound Dahlia Street traffic over I-76
• A 36-hour closure of I-76 will be required to complete repairs in late June
