I-76 Bridge Repairs East of Roggen & East of Wiggins
About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation will repair two bridges on Interstate 76 in Weld and Morgan counties. Both bridges are over 65 years old. The first bridge is over Lost Creek, east of Roggen (Mile Point 48.87). The second bridge is over Bijou Creek, east of the Town of Wiggins (MP 67.11).
Work includes:
- Repairing parts of the concrete structure
- Replacing the asphalt driving surface
- Upgrading the guardrail
- Placing new bridge railing over Lost Creek

Work Schedule
- Daytime work hours ranging from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Night work and weekend shifts are possible
- Phased construction from April to November 2025
Traffic Impacts
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:
- Lane closures and traffic shifts
- Temporary rough riding surfaces may be present until paving is finished
- Speed limit reductions and width restrictions will be in place as needed
- Vehicles entering and exiting the work zone
