Public Outreach

Public involvement is an essential part of the NEPA process. Public meetings—with small groups, in larger formats, and as online meetings and telephone town halls—will be held during the I-70 Floyd Hill to Veterans Memorial Tunnels Improvements Project.

A newsletter and email blasts are also planned to keep everyone informed about the progress of the project.

February 2020 Public Meeting

CDOT held a public meeting on February 27 to provide an update on the Environmental Assessment and preliminary engineering progress for the Floyd Hill Project. The meeting was well attended, and participants provided a lot of useful input. Please see the Meeting Summary Report or click below for individual meeting materials.

Please subscribe to the mailing list to be notified of the next public meeting and check the website for updates.

Meeting materials will be available on the website if you can’t make it to the meeting. Please contact Shonna Sam at [email protected] or 720-250-6934 with any questions about the project or the meeting or if you require special accommodations to participate.

January 2019 Project Update

Work on the Environmental Assessment continued to document existing conditions but the EA was largely put on hold after the failure of the transportation funding propositions on the November 2018 ballot.
