Construction Phasing Image

In preparation for the Central 70 Project to break ground this summer, various preconstruction activities must take place prior to construction of the highway. One of these activities includes geotechnical boring, where crews will characterize the soil and the rock to determine its strength, so that properly designed foundations for the structures will be properly designed and built.

Other crews will be doing locates for current utilities to assist in design.
