I-25 Overhead Signs Replacement
About the Project
The project will replace two aging overhead signs on I-25 in Pueblo south of CO Highway 96 (Mile Point 98.54 to MP 98.8). In addition, two new overhead signs will be installed in northern Colorado Springs on I-25 near North Academy Boulevard (MP 150.15 to MP 150.30).
Project Benefits
The new signs will increase lane awareness and have better reflectivity at night to help motorist navigate the highway safely.
Work Schedule
- Nighttime work hours are Sunday night through Friday morning from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Traffic Impacts
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:
- Plan for shoulder closures and single lane closures
- Occasional closure of I-25 will occur towards the end of the project from midnight to 2 a.m. to install overhead signs
