About the Project

Work will take place along Interstate 25, beginning south of Fountain all the way to the city of Wigwam. The paving project will happen over a three-month period on I-25 at Mile Point 119 to MP 124.5. Work will primarily consist of resurfacing. Work will be done in both the northbound and southbound lanes for a five-mile stretch of I-25.

Work Schedule

  • Work will last approximately four months
  • Sunday to Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Traffic Impacts

Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:

  • Vehicles will be reduced to a northbound and southbound single-lane at nighttime
  • Northbound and southbound road shoulders will be closed during the day
  • On and off-ramp closures, guided by flaggers and detour signs, will have up to 15-minute delays
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 60 mph through the work zone
