Denver Metro Bridge Maintenance
About the Project:
Work will occur along two roadways, Interstate 76 and I-225. The first phase of the bridge maintenance project will happen along I-76 from Second Creek to 144th Avenue, Mile Point 16.75 to MP 21. Crews will then move operations to I-225 from southbound I-25 to northbound I-225 at MP 0.02. The following location will be on the southbound I-225 ramp at Vaughn Way from MP 70.25 to 70.6. The final phase of this project will be along I-225 at 28th Avenue at MP 11.05.Work will primarily consist of removing and replacing expansion joints on five structures and placing a polyester concrete overlay on two structures. It also includes concrete pavement work, joint sealant and minor guardrail repairs.

Traffic Impacts:
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the period of construction:
- Vehicles will be reduced to a single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in
either direction throughout the duration of the project - Lane closures, guided by flaggers and pilot cars, will have up to 15-minute
