CO 7 Intersection Improvements in Lafayette | Design Phase

About the Project

Colorado Department of Transportation is designing a project to widen and repave Colorado Highway 7 at the 95th Street, Willow Creek Drive and Park Lake Drive intersections in Lafayette.

The design for CO 7 at Willow Creek Drive and Park Lake Drive will include left turn lanes to separate left turning traffic from the through-lanes.

The design for CO 7 at 95th Street will include:

  • two through-lanes in each direction
  • a dedicated eastbound bus lane
  • construction of multi-use paths
  • improved transit facilities
  • various pedestrian and signal improvements

Design is underway and construction is planned for summer of 2026. Additional information will be available as the project progresses towards construction.

The goal is to reduce congestion and improve travel time reliability and safety. In addition, various transit and multi-modal improvements are being incorporated with the project.
