CO 21 Powers Boulevard & Airport Road Interchange | Construction Phase
About the Project:
The Colorado Department of Transportation is constructing a diverging diamond interchange at the intersection of Airport Road and Powers Boulevard (Colorado Highway 21 / US Highway 24) to replace the existing signalized intersection. Work includes bridge and ramp construction, placing embankment, concrete paving, overhead sign structure installation, new traffic signal systems and permanent water quality ponds.

Work Schedule:

Traffic Impacts:
Motorists can expect the following impacts during the construction:
- Travelers should expect intermittent lane closures, traffic shifts and alternating traffic
- Speed limit reductions and width restrictions will be in place as needed
- Watch for vehicles entering and exiting the work zone
