CO 133 Chip Seal in Pitkin & Gunnison Counties
About the Project
The project will improve approximately 24 miles of CO 133 from Roaring Fork High School to McClure Pass (Mile Point 66.9 to MP 24). Work will include:
- asphalt patching
- chip seal applications
- fog seal
- pavement markings
This project is in conjunction with a culvert improvement project that takes place on US 6 between Rifle and Silt, Colo. Work consists of one culvert replacement and one culvert improvement that will be completed in April 2025.

- Speed reduction of 40 MPH
- One-lane alternating traffic guided by pilot car
