CO 60 Bridge Replacement Over the South Platte River

Crews will continue roadwork construction on CO 60 east of Milliken (MP 15.30 to 16.20). During operations, traffic should expect:

  • Single lane closure, with alternating traffic
  • Flaggers on site 
  • Reduced speed limit through the work area, and delays and slowdowns are possible

Crews on this project will remove and replace a bridge on Colorado Highway 60 over the South Platte River in Weld County. To accommodate construction, crews will reconfigure the road in a new horizontal alignment west of the existing structure.

Schedule & Travel Impacts

  • Crews will start work in early October, and completion will take an estimated 155 days (late April 2019).
  • Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays
  • Work is weather dependent and subject to change.
