In December 2019, crews completed the upgrade of curb ramps and sidewalks on I-25C and on US 160 in Walsenburg to ensure they complied with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

Other work included:

installing permanent traffic-control devices;
improving pedestrian crossings; and
modifying a culvert to accommodate a multi-use shared path on Walsen and Pine.

Crews completed work at the following locations:

Interstate 25C (Walsen Avenue), between Spruce Street (MP 1.9) and Pine Street (MP 2.3)
US 160 (Seventh Avenue) between Olive Street (MP 304.72) and Ysidro Street (MP 304.85).
