US 50 Bridge over East Dry Creek in Pueblo

About the Project
On September 15 work will begin on the bridge over East Dry Creek on US 50 as crews assess and carry out measures to the bridge structure to ensure its integrity. Crews will be working on bridge piers to remove scour and install protective measures. Crews will also assess and work on the surrounding creek areas as riprap is removed and replaced on slopes.This project is part of CDOT’s “Whole System. Whole Safety.” initiative aimed at enhancing safety for Colorado’s traveling public. This project will remove debris and materials around bridge structure to ensure piers are clear and and implement measures to avoid further erosion that might otherwise compromise structural stability.

Proposed Work Schedule
