US 40 ADA Ramp Upgrades, Grand County & Jackson County

About the Project

This project consists of improvements to bring existing curb ramps into compliance with PROWAG requirements. The work to be performed includes improvements to curb ramps, curb and gutter and sidewalks. Curb ramp replacements are located in various areas throughout the towns of Kremmling, Granby, Fraser, Winter Park, Hot Sulphur Springs, and Walden.

Proposed Work Schedule

• Work began Tuesday, May 26, 2020, on 6th Street and Park Avenue in the Town of Kremmling.
• The general schedule (subject to change) began Tuesday, May 26, 2020, and is expected to be completed Tuesday, June 23, 2020, weather permitting. Contractors are complying with the latest guidelines set by the State of Colorado for work zones during the COVID-19 response.

Traffic Impacts

• Affected intersections along 6th Street include Grand Avenue and Eagle Avenue, and various intersections along Park Avenue, including Pine Street, and 1st Street through 7th Street.
