US 36 Resurfacing 28th to Table Mesa Drive

Project completed

About the Project

Beginning in mid-May, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor, Martin Marietta will begin work to resurface approximately 2.6 miles of US 36 near Baseline Road in Boulder. In addition to resurfacing, the contractor will resurface on and off ramps in this location, provide bridge joint expansion replacement and new guardrail in various locations.

This project will improve safety to the traveling public by resurfacing an aging roadway to create a smoother drive. CDOT continues to improve roadways such as US 36 which is a heavy commuter route into and out of Boulder. Improving aging infrastructure helps to minimize future roadway expenses and lengthens the life of the corridor.
