US 24 South of Minturn Resurfacing
Project Complete
About the Project
The Colorado Department of Transportation with its contract partner United Companies will begin work on US Highway 24 south of Minturn in late April from MP 147 to MP 158.
Work on the project includes surface treatment, 2.5 inches HMA mill and overlay, pavement markings, and delineation on US 24 south of Minturn (MP 147 to MP 158). Once complete, the project will improve drivability for motorists and provide safer conditions for pedestrians and individuals using bicyclists.
Travelers to and from Leadville can avoid this and other nearby construction projects by using Colorado Highway 91 and Interstate 70.
