US 85 Resurfacing from Platteville to Fort Lupton

About the Project:

From spring to summer 2017, crews resurfaced US 85 from Platteville to Fort Lupton (mile points 242.6 to 246.7). 

The project accomplished the following:

• improved the quality of this portion of northbound US 85 via asphalt removal and replacement, and installation of new guardrail;
• provided better drivability for motorists;
• eliminated potholes and divots in the road surface; and
• eliminated "faulting" from the deterioration of the old road.
