  • No construction will take place during the July 4 th holiday from July 2 – 5, 2019.
  • Flaggers and warning vehicles will guide motorists through the rumble strip construction zone.

This project team will install rumble strips—used to alert drivers that they've traveled outside their lane—and paint lines along US Highway 6 from the Nebraska border west to Sterling.

Rumble strips are cost-effective tools that reduce the likelihood of motorists crossing over into other lanes and causing head-on collisions.
