Eastbound US 50 Resurfacing West of Delta

Project Overview

In November 2019, CDOT completed the resurfacing of the eastbound lanes of a six-mile stretch of US Highway 50 — from mile points 62.48 to 68.48 — just west of the City of Delta in Delta County. Other work included:

  • rebuilding the road using recycled material from the existing one (aka full-depth reclamation) at four locations
  • replacing guardrail
  • improving drainage
  • striping
  • installing delineators to provide guidance on the road
