US 50 Over Blue Mesa
Crews on this project resurfaced a 12.1-mile stretch of US 50 along Blue Mesa Reservoir, in Gunnison County between mile points 127 and 139.1.
Project work, completed in November 2017, included:
- removing surface cracks and imperfections by milling and recycling the existing asphalt surface;
- resurfacing the pavement with new asphalt;
- repairing the bridge deck;
- replacing guardrail; and
- restriping the highway.
