Overview

On May 27, 2010 the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) completed the bridge replacement project on US 34 just east of Estes Park. The project replaced two structurally deficient bridges in the Big Thompson Canyon between mileposts 65.4 and 66.3. The bridges were originally constructed in 1937 and were the last steel truss bridges in the Big Thompson Canyon.

SEMA Construction, Inc. was the contractor for this $3.8 million project.
