Project completed

About the Project

Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and its contractor, Martin Marietta Materials, are partnering on a project that will improve 5.2 miles of US 24 in El Paso County between Manitou Springs and Chipita Park. Work consists of removing and replacing asphalt, upgrading concrete curb and gutter, and replacing damaged guardrail and delineator posts.

The improvements will increase safety, and asphalt resurfacing will provide motorists a smoother road surface.
