Overview

From Monday, July 10 through mid-November 2017, crews on this project improved US Highway (US) 160 from the west side of Del Norte to the west edge of Monte Vista (mile points 201 to 215).

Timeline of Work

Crews started by building Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), wheelchair-accessible curb ramps in Del Norte at the intersections of US 160 and Cherry, Penasco, Hermosa and French streets.

In August, crews treated US 160 with a protective surface (aka, chip seal) through Del Norte to the west edge of Monte Vista. This work protected and preserve the life of the pavement.
