From Monday, March 20, through May 31, 2017, crews improved the intersection of US Highway (US) 160 and Rio Grande County Road (CR) 19. Work started near mile post (MP) 189 on US 160, approximately 2.5 miles east of South Fork. Construction extended about a quarter mile in each direction of the intersection.

This project:

widened a shoulder;
overlaid the road with asphalt; and
added striping and pavement markings throughout the project area.
