About the Project
This project involved painting 6-inch striping over existing pavement markings on both asphalt and concrete pavement types. These new white and yellow markings match existing pavement lines. Work was completed in early August 2023.
The project work consisted of regionwide striping at various locations along several highways: US 24, US 50, US 160, US 285, CO 291, US 491 and US 550.
Project Benefits
- By completing yearly maintenance on highway pavement markings, we are able to preserve the safety and integrity of our highways.
- Maintaining the reflectivity on highway center lines and edge lines, helps guide the traveling public, especially at night and during inclement weather conditions.
