CO 60 Environmental Overview Study

The purpose of the State Highway 60 Environmental Overview Study (SH 60 EOS) is to identify the safety and mobility improvements necessary to address the future travel demand within the SH60 corridor for the year 2030 and to provide an overall strategy for CDOT and the local jurisdictions for right of way preservation and access control necessary to allow the future implementation of improvements with respect to changes in land use and rapid development along the corridor. US 34 Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study

The project will provide for a Planning and Environmental Linkages Study on US 34 from Glade Road west of Loveland to CR 49 east of Greeley. Over the last 10 – 15 years, various studies have been performed throughout this corridor, including an Access Control Plan along US 34 from CR 3 to US 85, an Environmental Assessment along US 34 in Loveland from US 287 east to CR 3 along with other studies. US 160 EIS

The proposed project is located in La Plata County, Colorado. The project length on US 160 would be 16.2 miles, extending from milepost (MP) 88.0, located east of Durango , to MP 104.2, located east of Bayfield. The project length on US 550 would be 1.2 miles, extending from MP 16.6, located at the US 160/US 550 (south) intersection, to MP 15.4, located south of the US 550/County Road (CR) 220 intersection. US 36 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)

From 2003 to 2009, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Regional Transportation District (RTD), in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), studied multi-modal transportation improvements for the U.S. 36 corridor between Denver and Boulder in the U.S. 36 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
