I-70 Reversible (Zipper) Lane Study Phase I

Gerogetown to Floyd Hill - Phase 1 Feasibility Study - August 10, 2010 Gerogetown to Floyd Hill - Phase 1 Feasibility Study - August 10, 2010 -The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is considering a reversible zipper lane on I-70 west of Denver to manage congestion during peak times on winter Sundays. The current strategy under consideration calls for an eastbound reversible lane to begin west of Empire Junction (approximately Milepost 230.5) and for the lane to terminate at the base of Floyd Hill (Milepost 244.0).
