CO 91, Copper Mountain to Fremont Pass
Project complete
Project Overview
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) currently is rotomilling and paving State Highway 91 between Copper Mountain and Fremont Pass.
Work resumed in early June and is scheduled for completion in August 2012. The project began on the north side of Fremont Pass in early July 2011, following the Independence Day weekend, and continued through November 2011 before shutting down for the winter.
Improvements include widening the shoulders at various locations between Copper Mountain and the top of Fremont Pass (Climax).
CDOT will maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate various recreational events taking place in Summit and Lake counties during the summer 2012.
