Public Hearing November 19, 2014
A public hearing was held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Elementary School located at 915 School Street in Glenwood Springs. The purpose of the public hearing was to present the environmental impacts and mitigation measures described in the EA and obtain public comments.
There were 124 people who signed in at the public hearing. Study team members were available throughout the hearing to discuss the project and answer questions. The hearing was held in an open house format with project information displayed around the room, as well as a physical model of the project. A half-hour presentation was made at 6:30 p.m., followed by a public comment period from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
