CO 7 South of Estes Park

Project Overview

Resurfacing of CO 7 between Estes Park and CO 72 intersection (mile points 0-19).  Culvert replacements between MP 11 and MP 6. Drainage improvements and flood repairs to area adjacent to CO 7 in the area of Camp St. Malo. This $14 million project is estimated to begin in Summer of 2015 and is scheduled for completion by fall 2016.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closures will take place Monday through Friday, daytime hours.

Project Benefit

Replacing the culverts will eliminate roadway drop-offs in these areas, thereby making the highway safer and improving drainage.  Resurfacing will improve ride and roadway surface smoothness and extend the life of CO 7. Resurfacing will consist of a 2” mill and fill for the majority of the project.
