CO 66 Overlay, US 287 to I-25

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is beginning a highway construction project on SH 66 in Boulder and Weld Counties.  Work on this project consists of asphalt removal and replacement and structural improvements on a 5.57-mile stretch of SH 66 between US 287 and I-25.

Project Timeline:

• February 2015 – Work is scheduled to begin. Normal working hours will be from 6 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday. The first phase of this project will be drainage work.
• March 2015 – Drainage work will continue during normal working hours, 6 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday.
• April 2015 – Drainage work will continue during normal working hours, 6 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday.
• May 2015 – Work will be paused.
• June 2015 – Night time work will begin with working hours from 8 pm to 6 am, Sunday through Thursday.
• July 2015 - Night time work will continue with working hours from 8 pm to 6 am, Sunday through Thursday. The project is expected to be complete in July 2015.
