Schedule and Traffic Impacts
Normal working hours are 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., be Monday through Friday. During roadway reconstruction, motorists can expect alternating shifts in travel lanes for up to one mile at a time.
During working hours, both lanes of travel will be maintained when possible. Otherwise, motorists can expect one alternating lane of traffic for a limited distance. Additionally, speed limits will be reduced to 40 mph during working hours. Special attention should be paid during milling and paving operations at the intersection of CO 392 and CO 257 (aka, County Road 19).
Traffic fines will be doubled for speed violations through the construction zone. For your safety, please plan for additional time and drive carefully through the construction zone.
